Weekend Music and Art

Can you all let me know if the blog looks off?  Do you still have all the color or is it all white?  For some reason, half the time I pull it up today, it’s not right.

Right now, I’m enjoying the mellow and lovely sounds of Saxon Shore.  Click here to listen to Secret Fire, Binding Light.   They call this instrumental music for people who don’t like instrumental music.  🙂  If you take the time to listen, the song hits you in the chest with a rising passion I find emotional and addictive.  I just love them.

For more, www.myspace.com/saxonshore  (0501 Demo is wonderful!) and http://www.saxonshore.com/

And for weekend art, I found a fantastic photographer B. S. Hothi.  This artist is only eighteen!   I spent a long time perusing the beautiful images on his site.  His portraits are excellent.  I especially love the contrast of color in this one.

So far, he’s not offering prints for purchase and I was unable to find a website other than the one linked to his name above.  I plan to keep up with him.  There are a couple that would look excellent hanging in my home. 🙂

Oh yes, I changed the Sonfic song to the right.  “Turn off the song.  Turn off the stereo.  Turn off the television.  Turn on your inner-vision.”  Cool song about Silent Music. Have a great Sunday!

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.

I tried to read and listen to the song at the same time. It can’t be done. It demands my entire attention. It’s great! Thanks for the link. 🙂

You’re welcome, Jen! I love this type of music and if you do, too, try that Pandora Internet Radio I posted about earlier and type them in. I’ve learned about so many new bands this way.

Blog colors look fine to me.

I checked out the artist and must say I’m impressed. I was astonished at a comment left saying that he needed more feeling. What!

Colors look fine — I have days where my blog is totally out of whack on my end but is fine for everyone else. *sigh*

The colors look good to me. I’m off to check out the artist.
