Weekend Music and Art–Haunting…Moving

Arvo Part, a contemporary composer who will make you sit in awe, quiet and still… and if you’re anything like me, you’ll tear up in parts of this piece called Magnificat. 🙂  This is the Estonian Philharmonic Choir.

(Clicking on the name takes you to the Amazon site for this particular CD–which is all good–It’s one of my favorites.)

Art this week is from www.moodflow.com.  Wow, talk about an interesting site.  Wonderful, ambient music to inspire a mood and some spectacular wallpapers like these.

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.

Love the turquoise sea. Just stole it for wallpaper and will have to visit the site. Beautifil stuff.

Hope you are feeling better and not pushing yourself too hard. Are you going to the Medieval Faire in Norman next week? I haven’t been in a few years but it could be fun.
