Small World

I do apologize to my faithful readers.  I’ve been thinking about the blog but unfortunately, my world has shrunk lately and I’m having a bit of difficulty adjusting.  I’m no longer writing full time–I took on a job to help out with things here.  It’s a dream of a job since I can still do it from home and be here for the kiddos.  The only bigger dream job for me would be actually “earning” a living with my writing.  heh heh

But I’m having trouble getting used to an extra six or so hours a day crammed into an already crammed schedule.  Moved the writing to nights.

Don’t worry, I’ll get adjusted to the new schedule in no time–probably after the conference next week.  I played like crazy on the fourth, so uh, slight exhaustion might be a factor in today’s tiredness. 🙂

I did manage to get book two in my series outlined and a synopsis written.  Also found a YA novel I started a while back and pulled it out.  So, I finished outlining and wrote a synop for it, too.  So, once I get one more chapter on the YA and three chapters on book two in the adult series, I should have more than enough to keep an agent’s interest, right?  My fingers are crossed.

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.
