Am I Theming or What?

Heather and I got into this long discussion on music we were into as kids.  (She was inspired to post her 80s hair today.)

I’m two years older and believe it or not, that makes quite a bit of difference in certain areas.  She’d never heard of Planet P.  Ack!  She was so deprived!!1

So, I thought of other short-lived bands I freaking loved then and thought I’d hunt them down.  I WAS REALLY INTO ZEBRA.

That zebra outfit!!!  ROFL!

The hubby was really into the sax player in Quarterflash.  He saw her in concert and didn’t take me—course, I think that was before there was an us.

I’ve got too many!  Okay, one more on this post. Yeah, I loved Toto…

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.

  1. I still listen to Toto on Sirius. 😮

Actually, my friend posted that pic of the hair on her blog first. It was eerie seeing it at first, because you had just hopped off the computer for the night, so it was right after our string of emails.

I feel so old today. 😉

OMG I loved Zebra! Who’s Behind the Door is a classic song. I liked Quarterflash and Toto too but… Do you remember Asia? Yaz?

Oh yes, Asia is one of the videos I haven’t loaded yet. I have a ton of bands that bring back memories. 🙂

There are still videos, Laura–they’re just not so fun.
