Happy Thanksgiving!

This is the first day that has felt like Autumn.  There’s a chill to the air and it smells fresh and cool outside.  I’m preparing for a houseful but wanted to step in and wish you all a happy holiday. 🙂

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.

    Have a great turkey day!!!

  4. I bet your kitchen smells like heaven. Sigh.

I have not been able to drink wine in the evenings when my kids are awake since anti-drug week at their school. Because alcohol is a drug, and drugs are bad, Mommy.

    Damn kids. 😉

    Happy Thanksgiving.

Oh sorry about that. They get past that. Well…in my house, which is decorated in Italian wine country and since I make the stuff myself, my kids have learned that it’s fine in moderation. For adults. I did have to explain the difference in drugs vs. wine.

But I don’t drink as often as it may sound. There is usually an open bottle, but mostly for cooking. 😉

Tonight my kitchen smells like oatmeal raison cookies, pie and sausage/cranberry/stuffing balls.

    Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
