For Your Weekend Wandering…

“Writing, I think, is not apart from living.  Writing is kind of double living.  The writer experiences everything twice.  Once in reality and once in that mirror which waits always before or behind.”           Catherine Drinker Bowen

Today, I’m listening to Rasputina. Laura from Mad Below My Feet blogged about them today.  Alternative, moody, cello rock.  Gotta love it!

Had a breakthrough of creativity last night and stayed up way too late.  Ever get to a place where the story is gelling at a rate faster than you can get it out?  It’s kind of exciting, painful and exhausting at the same time?  Causes severe writer’s hangover??  And worth every second, eh?

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.

  2. That is an awesome photo. I dig it. 🙂

  3. Rasputina rocks! Wonder if they have more songs out for downloading. I am hyper about cellos.

Anyways I love your pictures. The photography is awesome. Simply killer. I upload lots of pictures too and it’s interesting to see what people deem as interesting and pretty.
