DOTT is Going Out

I’m simply useless right now.  Can barely concentrate on things and will probably be making up for lost time in the pay-job into the wee hours tonight when I should be dreaming of all things dark and dangerous.

Believe it or not, I have been writing in fits and spurts. ( Thought I’d pull a Rachel and do a little side project while I wait on word for my UF series.)

But today?  Ack. Not happening.

Why?

My proposal apparently passed muster and now both Dweller on the Threshold(DOTT) and Blood of an Ancient(BOAA) are going out.  So, cross appendages of your choice–sharing is optional 😉 — and send out wishes to the publishers.   Hope they like.

I did have another agent request this morning.  I had contacted all those with partials or fulls, but not those with queries.  I’d forgotten that this agent requests pages and synopsis up front.   Felt bad that she read all that for nothing, but I did enjoy further validation that my work has some appeal.

There’s something about sitting and working alone in a quiet house that gets the mind into all kinds of bad places.

So… it’s time to lose the quiet!

Today’s Playlist:

Nine Inch Nails
Korn
The Gathering
Celldweller

With a dash of Colder to make things interesting… Nothing like dirty disco punk… 😉

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.
