Writerly Weekend

I’m hanging with seriously cool writer friends most of the weekend.  Have Mexican and margaritas tonight and well, I’d better skip the usual presidential margaritas at Chili’s tomorrow…  Or I could just have one tonight and one tomorrow…  LOL!

I’ve been critiquing like crazy for my CP, Rachel Vincent, and let me just say, you are all in for a treat!

I’m hoping to catch her up on Sunday and finish the synop for my current WIP.  I usually spill out a synop like it’s nothing, but this one has been giving me fits.  I want to conquer this puppy by Sunday. 😉

Have a great weekend!

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.

Enjoy the weekend! Sounds like you’re set for a grand time.

I’ve always had problems writing a synopsis. That’s something I’ll continue to work on.

And I only had tea. LOL!

I usually look at my synopsis as an outline and then it just flows.

I’m venturing out of the dark cave I’ve been living in for the last year plus and I’ve worked to the spot I want to be in contact with the people I cared about and loved to be around. I’ve been surfing the blogs to catch up on what you’ve all been up to.
I left Donnell a comment and Betty Sanders but I wanted to say hi to you and tell you I missed seeing you and the others.

Hi Jo! I understand those caves myself. Welcome into the sunlight! Not that my blog is all that sunny or anything, but I’m still plugging away here. Don’t think Betty is blogging much these days and I have no idea if Donnell is either. I should check. 🙂
