New Blog

Not for me. I’m happy here. No, this is for my husband’s business.  We both love to watch remodeling shows on cable and thought it would be fun to show before and after pictures of his local works in progress.  The first shared job doesn’t have before pics because I created the blog during.  It does have a few before images–before the tile.  <g>

But I’m sharing the link for those who like to see improvements at work.  We have a some more cool images coming up that show true before and after results on a job where he  built a wall, repaired holes in a ceiling and hand textured a kitchen!  (And you guys thought I worked hard!)

This is a Tuscan remodel of a garage office.  (Yes, we’re Oklahoma based, but the hubby sometimes misses where he grew up along the Potomac River, so he named his company after it.)

We were also recently mentioned in this Oklahoma podcast.  Fun, huh?

No writing news on my end. I’ve been working on some short projects and I’m still on submission with one book and waiting on edits for the young adult fantasy novel I finished last month.  I posted a snippet of this book at The Deadline Dames last week and got some excellent feedback from readers.  Loved that. 😉 If you want to read the comments, go here.

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.

Love the color scheme in the office pics. So soothing to the eyes! The floor looks really neat – kind of flowing like rippled water (wrong color for water, but the pattern in the pics is reiminiscent of water). Neat. Thanks for sharing.
