Something New

Thought I’d try out audio books and what better time than now? Why you ask? The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is offered as a free download this week. I’ve wanted to read this book for some time.

You do have to sign up and download their software, but I’ve been curious about audio books for a little while. And if I like, I’ll buy more books.

So, I downloaded the software and have already loaded the book onto my iPod. Who knows? This could make me work out longer. <g>

BTW, I haven’t been updating my Livejournal site. There was a bug in the program and it hit several authors, so I’m being cautious. It tried to do a download on my computer the last time I signed in, so be careful!

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.

I actually just bought The Hunger Games in hard-copy format, but I think I’ll try this so I can hit the treadmill while listening. Thanks for the heads up!

You’re welcome! Oh, I miss my treadmill. We downsized so much, there wasn’t a place for it here so it went to Goodwill. This winter I’m sure the absence will be worse when it’s too cold to walk the neighborhood.

But maybe I’ll bundle up and enjoy audio books. Who knows? 🙂
