Short Un-NaNo Break for… Puppy!

I noticed I posted the wrong word totals in my quick Friday post. I’m actually over 20k in the book now. The last three days were really busy and I didn’t have time to write, but I’m cool with it because I loved spending time with family and friends. I’ll return tomorrow with what I expect will be a decent word count–the book was still alive in the head ALL WEEKEND and MONDAY. Until tomorrow then!  In the meantime, enjoy this pic of my Mom and Dad’s new puppy, Sissy and her best friend, Chico the Chihuahua. 🙂

Don’t forget to check in with my critique partner, Rachel Vincent. We decided to take this month and knock out first drafts together. 🙂

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.
