My Day Got Better

Let’s cheer this blog back up! Received first response from my editor at Samhain Publishing today and she said that though she liked Dweller so very much, she LOVES Blood of an Ancient. So yay! This was a stressful book because I didn’t give myself enough time on it. I basically did nothing but work for the last few months, but it sounds like it might have paid off. Hope you all enjoy it when it releases in October!

Now I have a print galley to get done and round one of rewrites to get done–by the end of this week. Expecting rewrites soon on the new series with a different publisher, too.

Excited to have all this happening. Here’s the cover of Blood of an Ancient again. 🙂

Edited: I’m getting a lot of emails asking if my family is okay. Yes. One of the tornadoes touched down 2 to 3 miles from me, but they all missed us. My heart goes out to those not as fortunate. The tornado that started in our town just kept going and building. It was scary and they are still looking for survivors. Thanks to all who have been concerned. 🙂

About Rinda Elliott

Writer.I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children. I’m represented by Miriam Kriss of the Irene Goodman Agency.
